Welcome to Wellington RFC Minis & Juniors Section

About – Following on from Home page

The Club has recently celebrated our 150^th anniversary and throughout that time we have we cherished our role as a community-based sports club.  Our success is due in no small part to the contribution the Minis & Junior section make, and it is notable that many of the senior teams are made up of players who have progressed through the M&Js. 

Our aim is to encourage children to enjoy and learn the game as part of a team, using a combination of games, drills and match play at training. All children get the opportunity to play with their team in matches, as we do not select solely on the basis of ability. Rugby is a fantastic team sport that is best played with a smile on your face. When players have fun, they come back week after week. 

 Training and home matches take place at the home of Wellington RFC, The Athletic Ground, Corams Lane, Wellington TA21 8LL. 

When we are able to, we would love to welcome touring teams to the club. If you would like to visit us, then contact a member of the committee.
